The Association of Cerebral Palsy and Dystrophy BOD will participate in a training on “Communication through social media”, organized by CARE International from 1.10. to 3.10. 2019 at Hotel Termag on Jahorina. Experts in the field of digital marketing and PR will hold a series of lectures for representatives of seven non-governmental organizations from all parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina, including Amela Imamović, representative of the Association with Cerebral Palsy and Dystrophy of the BOD. The training is being held as part of the project “Improving Social Services through Strengthening NGOs in BiH”.
At the three-day training, techniques and tools will be addressed to gain greater visibility through digital media. Social Media Marketing, Content Marketing, Storytelling, Facebook / Instagram, and Google Advertising are just some of the fields from which participants will gain useful knowledge to use in their daily work. Particular attention will be paid to PR and media communication so that the public is more involved in a number of important projects on which the Association of Cerebral Palsy and Dystrophy BOD continuously works throughout the year.
The trainings are organized in cooperation with Web Studio Agency from Mostar and are aimed at strengthening the online visibility of each of the 7 non-governmental organizations through intensive group and individual work.
The financial support for the workshop “Communication through Social Media” was provided by CARE International through the project “Improving Social Services through Strengthening NGOs in BiH”, funded by the Government of the Czech Republic and CARE Czech Republic.

The aim of the project “Improving Social Services through Strengthening NGOs in BiH” is to strengthen the capacity of 7 NGOs to improve access to social rights, protection and care of vulnerable categories in BiH (persons with disabilities, women victims of violence, Roma, LBGT population ..).
